President and co-founder of Hallmark, Don is acknowledged as one of the top financial and charitable planning consultants in the nation. He received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA in 1981 and his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from the same instituiton in 1983. Don has more than 35 years of experience in financial services, and he currently holds Series 7, 24, 27, and 63 Securities licenses, as well as insurance licenses for Life, Accident & Health, and Variable products. Don's proven ability to take complex issues and make them remarkably clear has helped to enlighten and inspire audiences from coast to coast. Don has conducted more than 200 continuing education workshops for attorneys, financial advisors, and CPAs in 14 states and has educated the trustees and staff of dozens of non-profit institutions. He has also been responsible for the implementation of more than $200 million of family partnerships, charitable trusts, and private family foundations.
Jed graduated in 1998 from the University of Kansas with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and a minor in Economics. Prior to joining the Hallmark team, Jed worked for Renaissance Administration, Inc., of Indianapolis, Indiana, the world's largest trust administration firm. As a client services manager with Renaissance, Jed was responsible for the ongoing administration of over 400 trusts. With more than six years' experience in trust administration, Jed brings personal and professional service to all of Hallmark Consulting Group's clients. Jed holds a Series 7 Securities license and a Colorado Insurance license, and is pursuing a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Jed is an avid golfer and skier and lives in Castle Rock with his wife, Sara.
Vint Hartmann started his financial services career right after college in 1995 with Ameritus Financial Services. In 1997, Vint began a similar endeavor with a large insurance and financial services company. For nearly a decade, Vint has specialized in helping families protect and grow their assets. He holds Series 6 & 22 Securities licenses and a Colorado Insurance license. Vint is also certified to assist clients with their long-term care insurance needs. Vint enjoys skiing, fishing, camping, and golfing.
Katherine Gray, Director of Operations With more than 20 years' experience in office management and administration, as well as a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, Katherine is responsible for office operations, including the servicing and monitoring of all client accounts, management of financial resources and coordination of special projects. She is also responsible for the development and administration of Hallmark's proprietary Endowed Retirement Plan, including the design and implementation of the annual client progress report process. Katherine also organizes and manages Hallmark's quarterly Town Hall Meetings, which have proven to be so popular with all of our clients. In a nutshell, Katherine is the glue that holds everything together year round at Hallmark.
Anita came to Hallmark in March 2010, with more than 35 years of experience in office administration and management, including running her own word processing firm for seven years. At Hallmark, Anita is responsible for the management and maintenance of our client database, information technology, and client communications. She also assists with bookkeeping and data processing, as well as the weekly electronic distribution of economic commentaries and market updates. Anita sings in the 250-voice choir at Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch, where she and her husband, Jim, are active members.
